Sampdoria expected to rip up Vieri contract

Sampdoria are expected to announce this morning they've agreed to rip up the contract of striker Christian Vieri.
The decision is said to have been made after Vieri met with Samp general manager Beppe Marotta in Milan late yesterday.
Vieri signed for Samp earlier this summer on a free transfer from Monaco, but has failed to front for preseason training as he considers his future in the game.
