Pires warns Senna ahead of Man Utd move

Robert Pires has warned Villarreal teammate Marcos Senna he'll need time to adjust should he complete his move to Manchester United.
Former Arsenal ace Pires told The Sun: "English football is like street fighting. Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all want to show they're better than each other.

"What goes on in the streets also happens on the pitch in England. Every Saturday it's like a war, whether you're at home or away."
Pires believes Senna, 30, will need time to adjust and warned the Brazilian-born Spain international to keep his cool at all costs when he makes his switch.
He added: "You have to adapt by using your head. English football is special because you have to be really strong. For that you have to be really mentally strong and be prepared for anything."
Pires feared he would never be able to cope with the on-field muggings and physical maulings when he first arrived in England.
He recalled: "In my first game Arsene Wenger told me 'Stay on the bench, watch and learn'.
"He thought the Premiership would be difficult for me because it's so different from France.
"I remember we started off against Sunderland and the boss just told me to stay in the dugout and watch how English football is played.
"It annoyed me. I wondered why he had brought me to England to just sit there.
"But I had a lot to learn. So much so that after the first 25 minutes from the bench, I thought I wouldn't be able to play in England because it was so different to what I'd learned in France.
"But, with time, I adapted and became an undisputed first choice."
