Gallas goes missing

Chelsea are expected to make an announcement on William Gallas after he failed to join up with the rest of the squad in America.
Gallas was given extra time off along with the likes of Michael Ballack, Ricardo Carvalho and Claude Makelele following their involvement at the World Cup.
Ballack, Carvalho and Makelele have all travelled to America to link up with the squad for pre-season training.
However, there is mystery surrounding the whereabouts of Gallas as he was due to meet up with the rest of the squad on Monday.
The news is sure to increase speculation over Gallas' future with the versatile defender being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
Gallas revealed earlier this summer he was looking to move on for a new challenge with the likes of Milan and Barcelona credited with an interest in the player.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho is adamant that Gallas will be going nowhere, but it remains to be seen if his delay in linking up with the squad will have any bearing on his future.
