Arsenal go for Lyon duo Abidal, Malouda
Olympique Lyon fullback Eric Abidal admits he couldn't turn down an offer from Arsenal or Barcelona.
DiarioSport says Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has approached Lyon this week about the availability of Abidal and Florent Malouda.
Abidal is seen as a replacement for Ashley Cole, while Malouda could succeed Real Madrid target Jose Reyes.
"I am happy at Lyon," said Abidal, "where I have three years of my contract left. Nevertheless, with some great clubs like Barcelona or Arsenal it is not possible to say no to them.
"If a player wants to leave, I do not see how somebody can stop that."
