Thuram continues Marco attack

Lilian Thuram is keeping up the French war of words with Marco Materazzi by labelling the Italian as an 'illness' in the game.
France's World Cup stars are still fuming with Materazzi for his part in provoking Zinedine Zidane into his shocking headbutt during the final in Berlin.
Italy famously went on to lift the World Cup on penalties and the French contingent believe Materazzi cost them the trophy by getting Zidane sent off.
William Gallas has been vocal in his condemnation of Materazzi, and his central defensive partner Thuram has now added to the attack.
Internazionale stopper Materazzi has had to explain himself to Fifa and Thuram has slammed his actions as being like an illness in football.
"Anyway, Materazzi, that kind of player is an illness," Thuram told Les Inrockuptibles
"That sort of thing shouldn't exist."
Zidane will give his version of events to Fifa on July 20, when a verdict and any possible punishments will be handed out by world football's governing body.
