Roberto Carlos' intended move to Chelsea has opened the door to a swap involving Arjen Robben joining Real Madrid.

Real sports chief Predrag Mijatovic will be in England this week for discussions over Ruud van Nistelrooy's arrival from Manchester United and will also meet with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich about Robben's availability.
Mijatovic spoke with Abramovich at the World Cup last month about Dutch ace Robben, who carries a £12 million price-tag.
Mijatovic is eager to see Roberto Carlos included in a deal for the Dutchman, who has pledged his future to Chelsea in the last week.
