Real Madrid reject £32M Man Utd bid for Casillas

Real Madrid have rejected a £32 million bid from Manchester United for goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

Casillas has been a long-term target for United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and AS says Real directors have told the Premiership giants to forget about the Spaniard, no matter how much they're prepared to offer.
The Spain No1 is contracted to Real until 2011 and earns a cool £2.5 million-a-year. However, his position at Real has come into question following the appointment of new coach Fabio Capello.
Capello would love to bring to Madrid his former Juventus keeper, Gigi Buffon, who will leave the Turin giants once their demotion from Serie A is confirmed later this month.
