Gallas: I want to smash Materazzi's face!

A furious William Gallas has continued his tirade against Italy and claims he has considered retribution on Zinedine Zidane's protagonist, Marco Materazzi.
Azzurri defender Materazzi has been cast in the role of agent provocateur after his baiting of Zidane led to the veteran headbutting his adversary in extra time of Sunday's World Cup final
Zidane's subsequent dismissal saw the former Real Madrid star's career end in infamy and Chelsea defender Gallas, who has already branded Italy 'cheats' following their World Cup success, could not conceal his anger at Materazzi's antics.
"When I see this I want to smash Materazzi's face," Gallas told the Daily Star.
"Sometimes you have players who are clever and say something to you and you are very angry and want to kill that player.
"Zizou didn't say anything to us. He was very disappointed for everybody, for himself.
"I'm disappointed because it was the last World Cup for him and everybody wanted to win for him."
