Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo blanked his manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, yesterday as the Scot sought talks with his troubled star.

The Sun says Old Trafford boss Fergie spent 24 hours trying desperately to contact the Portugal star.
But the winking winger switched off his mobile and failed to return calls from his boss or United board members.
It is Ronaldo's latest two-fingered salute to United after his role in Wayne Rooney's World Cup red card.
Assistant boss Carlos Queiroz even flew to Germany for talks after he revealed he wanted out of England.
Ronaldo, 21, only signed a new long-term contract last year but indicated he wanted away BEFORE the England clash.
Now he reckons his clash with Rooney has made a return to Manchester impossible.
