Real Zaragoza are preparing a bid for Valencia midfielder Pablo Aimar.
The Argentina international has effectively been transfer-listed by Valencia after sports chief Amadeo Carboni confirmed they would listen to offers for the player after the World Cup.
Aimar is Zaragoza's big-name target being lined up by their ambitious board, though they won't go higher than £7 million for the midfield schemer.
Valencia are seeking closer to £10 million and Olympique Marseille have already indicated they're willing to match that asking price.
