Inter Milan ask Villarreal for Riquelme

Inter Milan have made inquiries after Villarreal midfield playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme.
The Argentina international has been mentioned in talks between the two clubs over Inter defender Marco Materazzi. Villarreal want the Italy international, but Inter insist he is not for sale.
Villarreal are making the same stand over Riquelme, though there is reportedly a clause in his contract allowing him to speak with interested clubs should they put £8 million on the table.
