Villa move for Smith

Aston Villa have joined the race for Manchester United striker Alan Smith.
The Sun says Villa boss Martin O'Neill wants the former England star to boost his bid for a European place.
But he faces competition from Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Everton.
Championship clubs Cardiff, Leeds, Sunderland, Ipswich and Birmingham have also made enquiries.
Smith, 26, is on the fringes at United after recovering from a broken ankle.
