Poll tell Terry to fuck off
Ref Graham Poll is reported to have sworn at England captain John Terry during Chelsea's stormy clash with Tottenham.
The Sun says the allegation against Poll was made during consultations with Chelsea's lawyer over the official's display two weeks ago.
Soho Square chiefs asked Terry for his comments following his claim that Poll gave two different explanations for his red card at Tottenham.
Terry, along with team-mates Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole, was interviewed by Chelsea's barrister Jim Steadman last week. He then submitted statements to the FA on behalf of Lampard and Cole.
Poll allegedly swore at the England skipper when he was making a legitimate protest about a decision by the ref. Poll's reply to Terry was said to be "F*** off".
If proved, that outburst would land the whistler in serious trouble with the authorities as the use of foul and abusive language is considered a serious offence for both players and officials.
