Ronaldo mission impossible

Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello insists there's nothing to be concerned about after last night's Copa del Rey draw at little Ecija.

"The pitch was not a pitch and so it was very difficult to play football," said Capello. "For that reason I say that the result is right. We have even had several clear opportunities at the end of the game to have finished it off.
"The best thing out of the game has been that nobody has been injured. In any case, it is necessary to wait a little because there are several players with knocks. I am scared for Reyes, Cassano and Beckham.
"The truth is that with a pitch in such bad shape it is impossible to draw conclusions. The best thing is there was no greater damage than to be sorry that our improving form was stopped."
On Ronaldo's first appearance of the season, Capello added: "For Ronaldo it has been very complicated to play on a field like this one with so much mud.
"He could not take advantage of his explosive speed nor his technique and that is something that has happened to almost all my players."
