Reo-Coker bust up with Harewood
West Ham captain Nigel Reo-Coker reportedly had a furious bust-up with Marlon Harewood just hours before Tuesday night's Carling Cup humiliation at Chesterfield.
Striker Harewood and his skipper blew their tops during a practice session, says The Sun.
Harewood lost possession of the ball, triggering an angry tirade from England Under-21 midfielder and captain Reo-Coker.
The two team-mates then let rip with a furious finger-jabbing exchange for several minutes as home truths were aired about the team's plight at the foot of the Premiership and dire form.
Harewood later scored West Ham's first goal in more than 11 hours of football in the third-round tie.
But it could not prevent them sliding to the most embarrassing of their eight straight defeats against the League One minnows and earning the alleged 'pub team' tag from fuming chairman Terry Brown.
Warring Harewood and Reo-Coker settled their differences after training and it is believed no disciplinary action will be taken.
Midfielder Hayden Mullins declared: "We know how much we owe Alan Pardew and want to put it right on Sunday."
