Newcastle go all out for Beckham

Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder reckons there would be no shortage of Premiership clubs chasing David Beckham if he decided to return to England.
The Real Madrid midfielder has revealed his frustration at being reduced to a bit-part player at the Bernabeu following the arrival of new head coach Fabio Capello.

The 31-year-old former England captain recently said he would not consider a return home but Roeder believes there would be no shortage of suitors if he changed his mind.
"I think a lot of clubs in The Premiership would like to have David Beckham," the Magpies boss told Sky Sports News.
"I know him personally, I worked with him for over two years when I worked with (Glenn) Hoddle in the England staff.
"He's a great guy - sometimes he is misconceived. I enjoyed working with him and he has had a fantastic career and I'm sure he's got plenty to offer whether he stays at Real Madrid or whether he moves on.
"I think if he came back to The Premiership, bearing in mind he said he will never play in The Premiership again, I think any team lucky enough to
secure his services - their supporters will enjoy watching him play."
