Berlusconi prepare £60 million for Ronaldinho
AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is preparing a long-term contract package for Barcelona star Ronaldinho.
Corriere dello Sport says Berlusconi is drawing up a deal worth £8 million-a-year for the Brazilian, who has seen new contract talks with Barca drag on for almost 12 months.
Ronaldinho's buy-out clause is set at £85 million, but Berlusconi is confident he could land the World Player of the Year for £60 million with sources close to the player intimating he would be happy to move to Italy.
Meanwhile, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani denied plans of a bid for Ronaldinho today.
"There is no negotiation in course for the purchase of Ronaldinho.
"Ronaldinho, moreover, is a player of Barcelona under contract and we do not deal on players of the property of other teams.
"My relationship with the president of Barcelona, Joan Laporta, is excellent and we want that it remains so.
"We do not want to do want some others have done to us with Kaka."
