Barcelona star Lilian Thuram has launched a scathing attack on Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
He said: "Mourinho must have a problem with the French. He doesn't seem to get on with us. He should learn how to deal with his problem so he doesn't have a trauma. First it was these illusions about Claude Makelele and slavery - I don't know where he got that from. And then the attack on Gallas.
"When I heard about it I thought it was a joke. I've been in football a long time and I have never seen anything like it. Internal problems have always been solved internally, not in public.
"You never expect something like this from Chelsea, who are trying to be one of the world's top clubs. It's not the way to treat players.
"Gallas told us about his problems with Mourinho a long time ago and the way he treats players differently, but this is just completely out of the ordinary.
"He doesn't seem to have been affected, although he does seem upset and his team-mates have been on hand to help him out."
