Real want romans

Real Madrid's Italian agent Enzo Bronzetti has revealed they tried for three of Roma's top stars over the summer.

He said: "Real wanted Amantino Mancini, Cristian Chivu and Philippe Mexes, but out of respect for Roma I spoke first with Daniele Prade and let it go when he said they were not for sale. I didn't go to speak directly with the players, like some other people would've done."
The reference is clearly aimed at Predrag Mijatovic, who infuriated AC Milan this summer by openly trying to lure Kaka to Madrid.
"Both Daniele Baldini and Capello must have the sensitivity to negotiate directly with Roma rather than try to be sneaky. President Ramon Calderon is a man who always gets what he wants and if he decides on a player then he makes astronomic offers."
