Crespo delighted with goal

Hernan Crespo swooped for the winner as Inter Milan shook off a tough week to defeat Roma 1-0 in the capital last night.
Inter took the lead in this exciting game on the stroke of half-time. Crespo ran past Philippe Mexes down the left flank and his fierce shot ricocheted in off the inside of Doni's legs.
Afterwards, Crespo admitted the pressure had been telling on the club: "Victories like this are good for the club. After our draw with Sampdoria, despite the fact we deserved all three points there, there was a bit too much talk around the team.
"It wasn't easy to come here and win, but we showed great character and are really very happy to have achieved this objective. It's a very important victory and I said we had no reason to worry after Saturday's draw."
Adriano was again dropped, but Crespo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are forging an increasingly dangerous partnership.
"Tonight we all learned to struggle together because, sooner or later, we tend to score a goal. Now I am playing regularly, but the time will come when I'll need a rest and stay on the bench. It's not a problem for me, nobody dies because they sit on the sidelines. We must always be ready for when we are needed."
