Benitez forgive Reina

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has given keeper Jose Reina his unwavering support following his blunder during the Merseyside derby defeat to Everton.

The Spanish keeper caused great mirth around Goodison Park when allowing Andy Johnson to nip in and score the third goal.
Reina will get the chance to bounce back when The Reds take on PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League and he has been given the support of his manager.
"I have a lot of confidence in Pepe Reina after he collected 33 clean sheets last season to improve on Ray Clemence's record for conceding fewest goals," Benitez said on Monday.
"We don't need to talk a lot about him because he's a very good goalkeeper."
"We conceded three goals with three mistakes against Everton," he added.
"We need to improve our defence. Last season we were doing all these things perfectly and we need to start again and remember everything."
