Tevez missing in action

Argentine dazzler Carlos Tevez is a step closer from leaving Corinthians after going AWOL from training.

Tevez has already declared in the past week he's ready to move to Europe, while his agent has confirmed the interest of AC Milan, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
Corinthians director Pablo Angioni said yesterday: "I do not know where he is and I do not know what is in his mind."
Angioni admitted that the relationship between Tevez and Corinthians coach Emerson Leao was at breaking point, "The coach has never made it a mystery to prefer Brazilians over Argentines."
The decision to punish Tevez for skipping
training lies with MSI president Kia Joorabchian, as Angioni explained: "It's all in the hands of the president of MSI (Corinthians' backers). He will return next week (from Europe) and make the appropriate decision."
Corinthians president Edvar Simoes also said: "Tevez is the person who must explain his actions and give reasons for his absence."
