Moratti urges Ronaldo to turn down AC Milan

Inter Milan patron Massimo Moratti has urged Real Madrid striker Ronaldo not to join city rivals AC Milan.

Although Moratti has excluded his return to the club he once served, he's admitted that he doesn't want to see the South American in a Rossoneri shirt either.
"I would not be happy to see him go to the other club in Milan," the oil tycoon told reporters on Thursday evening.
Ronaldo controversially walked out on Inter in 2002 after the club returned him to full fitness, but Moratti has no regrets about the player he netted from Barcelona.
"He was my best signing," he added. "His acquisition brought a host of new sponsors, we sold him for double the price we bought him and he brought happiness with him."
Turning to the new season, Moratti is confident that he has the right man at the helm of the team for a successful campaign.
"[Coach Roberto] Mancini has now gained the experience needed and the tactician has all the qualities needed to express himself," he added. "He also has the players to do well."
