Liverpool reject cheeky Chelsea move for Riise

Chelsea made a cheeky enquiry last week for Liverpool wing-back John Arne Riise.
The Liverpool Echo says the Blues made the approach before Riise's stunning goal scoring performance in Sunday's Community Shield.
At this stage, there's no prospect of any further contact between the clubs as Reds boss Rafa Benitez questions the timing and motives of the champions' move.
Liverpool smell a rat, suspecting Chelsea are trying to use an interest in Riise as a means to forcing Arsenal to accept their £16m offer for Ashley Cole.
The Reds also presumed Jose Mourinho's interest may have been a usual tactic of trying to unsettle a key opponent before Sunday's fixture.
