Chelsea chairman: Cole deal now dead

Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has declared a bid for Arsenal left-back Ashley Cole is "dead".
Chelsea have bid £16.5million for Cole, 25, but that has been turned down. Arsenal want £25m.
Blues chairman Bruce Buck said yesterday: "Effectively, the deal is dead."
Many believe that is posturing on Buck's part but Arsenal are digging their heels in.
