Inter Milan's Martins: Newcastle deal close

Inter Milan striker Obafemi Martins has assured Newcastle United fans he'll join them this week.
Toon will push through a £45,000-a-week deal for the Inter Milan striker after failing in a bid for Miroslav Klose.
Martins said: "I'm close to moving to Newcastle - 80 per cent of the deal is complete.
"Playing in the Premiership has been a long-term ambition and I'm delighted with the prospect of concluding things in the next couple of days."
