Olympique Lyon midfielder Mahamadou Diarra is ready to announce where he will be playing next season.
The Mali international remains high on Real Madrid's shopping list and a concerted approach is expected next week once sports chief Predrag Mijatovic has closed a deal for Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Ironically, Diarra is also a top target for United, but it's understood he favours Madrid.
Sources close to Diarra have told Marca that the midfield powerhouse will make an announcement over his future "in the next four or five days".
