Newcastle United have made a £10 million bid for Chelsea winger Damien Duff.

Spurs have already had a £7million move for Duff rejected but Newcastle stepped in with a £10m bid yesterday.
Mourinho, speaking at the launch of Chelsea's new adidas team strip, said: "With Damien you cannot say the desire to leave is because he does not play.
"The fact is he's worried he won't play enough.
"We love him, we have a fantastic, open relationship with him and, because of that, we are thinking together about all the possibilities - which are, he can stay or go to another club.
"He is a player we are happy to keep. I'm not saying we want to keep him, though. An example of a player I want to keep is Arjen Robben. He is a player we keep 100 per cent for sure.
"Damien Duff I love as a player and as a person.
"But I listened to him for a couple of hours and understand what he has in his heart. After that, it becomes business - but he is such a good player it will not be easy business."
