Eto'o put football aside

Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o admits football is the furthest thing from his mind at the moment as he recovers from knee surgery.
The Cameroon ace is expected to return to action for Barca in the New Year and said yesterday: "The truth is that football right now is far from my thoughts. It is not my greatest focus right now. At the moment I am only thinking about myself and how my knee is doing.
"My recovery is going well enough. I'm working calmly and that is most important."
