West Ham for sale at £104M

West Ham United chairman Terence Brown has slapped a £104 million price-tag on the club.
The News of the World says Kia Joorabchian consortium are shocked at the new mega price.
Debt-free Aston Villa have just been bought by
American Randy Lerner for £63m. But West Ham are £23m in debt after a ground redevelopment and have a £7m overdraft.
Joorabchian - involved in bringing Argentine stars Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez to the club - feels the value is more in the region of £65m.
A source close to the Joorabchian consortium said: "There has been talk the price West Ham want is £104m - that's too high."
