Valencia completes £16 million Joaquin deal

Valencia have splashed out over £16 million to land Real Betis wing ace Joaquin in a club record deal.
While neither club would confirm the agreement last night, Joaquin is expected to be unveiled by Valencia today after not being spotted at Betis training yesterday.
Joaquin will sign a five-year contract, with the option of another 12 months, this morning. The deal is worth £1.2 million, rising a further £150,000-a-year.
The Spain international's arrival beats the £15.5 million Valencia paid for Pablo Aimar, who was offloaded to Real Zaragoza this summer.
