Spurs have £11M deal for Chelsea's Duff

Tottenham are set to clinch an £11 million deal for Chelsea winger Damien Duff.
The Sun says Tottenham boss Martin Jol expects to complete the transfer within 48 hours after Duff had a medical this weekend.

The Republic of Ireland ace, 27, has been offered a four-year, £60,000-a-week deal to boost Spurs' UEFA Cup bid.
Duff is quitting Chelsea after it became clear he no longer figures in boss Jose Mourinho's plans after signing from Blackburn for £17m in 2003.
The arrival of Michael Ballack and Andriy Shevchenko means Mourinho will revert to a 4-4-2 formation to accommodate his superstar signings - with limited opportunities for wingers.
Jol has been looking for a left-sided attacker for more than a year and, with Duff on one wing and teenager Aaron Lennon on the other, now has a team he feels is ready to challenge for major honours.
