Juventus are ready to make David Trezeguet the highest paid player at the club to keep him beyond the end of this season.
Trezeguet has been locked in talks over an improved contract with Juve since before their demotion to Serie B and with promotion all but assured, the board are determined to hold onto the French ace for their return to the top-flight.
Juve are ready to hand Trezeguet a bumper £3.75 million-a-year long-term deal, which would put him on par with Alessandro del Piero as the club's top earner. The offer is expected to be made to Trezeguet's
management before the end of November.
