Hargreaves honoured with Man Utd interest
Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves has played down an expected move to Manchester United in January.
The Red Devils made their interest in the Canada-born holding midfielder public in the summer but his club Bayern Munich rebuffed their approach.
A broken fibula suffered in a Bundesliga game ruled Hargreaves out of the first half of the season, however, which dampened speculation about a transfer.
He admits his future is out of his hands at the moment: "It's not up to me.
"Manchester United have been very open in the fact they would like to sign me but the most important thing is for me to get healthy.
"It's a great honour and we'll see what happens."
Regarding his injury, Hargreaves told BBC Radio Five Live: "It's slow progress but it's good to see progress. I'm happy."
