Ferguson furious with Ronaldinho failure
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was furious at missing out on Ronaldinho three years ago, claims former PSG chief Rodolphe Albert.
Albert believes United, led by then chief executive Peter Kenyon, had reached full agreement with Roberto Assis, the agent-brother of Ronaldinho, and he said: "Roberto had concluded an agreement in 2003. But United made transfer offers that were unacceptable."
PSG began looking at interest from Real Madrid.
He added: "Nike were panicking and worked twice as hard to get him to a club stamped with their swoosh and that was Barcelona."
