Adriano shrugs off Inter Milan striker rumours

Adriano has shrugged off the imminent arrival of a new striker at Inter Milan.

The Brazilian, who was outstanding against Porto yesterday, declared: "There's talk about Toni, Ibrahimovic, Trezeguet, Crespo. I know, I know that at least one will arrive, but this does not upset me at all.
"For me, it does not appeal to talk, but to demonstrate on the field, I know who I am. And I know I am capable of being the best striker at Inter, I know I can still do better than I did two years ago, when I played in a great way.
"I feel that Inter has confidence in me and I want to again be the player who Inter believes that I am.
"I still have to reach my peak fitness, but I know that I am already close to it."
