Valencia make mega offer for Benfica's Simao

Valencia have made a mega offer for Benfica wing ace Simao.
Los Che sports director Amadeo Carboni has offered striker Marco Di Vaio, plus £10 million cash, in exchange for the former Barcelona midfielder. The player has also been tabled personal terms worth £1.2 million-a-year.
Benfica president Luis Felipe Vieira is insisting on £15 million for Simao, having already turned down a previous offer from Valencia which included Hugo Viana and Marco Caneira as makeweights.
Encouraging for Valencia is that Vieira told Simao to stay away from the club over the weekend for the official presentation of the new season's squad.
