Reyes blasts back at France's Silvestre

Spain striker Jose Reyes has hit back at France's Mikael Silvestre over his criticism of coach Luis Aragones yesterday.

Silvestre voiced his anger at Aragones, who was overheard being racist about Thierry Henry during a conversation with Reyes in October 2004.
But Arsenal star Reyes believes French stopper Silvestre should be more worried about his country's form going into their last 16 clash.
Reyes said: "I think it is nonsense for Silvestre to try and heat up the game and it is because they are nervous about being eliminated by Spain.
"Henry knows well that Aragones is not a racist person.
"I do not even know if it is true what the Manchester United player has said about our manager, but he is making a big mistake if he is calling him racist.
"This was all cleared up 18 months ago so I don't understand why he has to talk about this topic now."
